Recognizing Black History Month by driving meaningful change
Family portriat - Black History Month

Toronto, ON – February 10, 2022, In recognition of Black History Month, Lifemark Health Group acknowledges and celebrates the accomplishments of Canada’s Black community. As a healthcare company focused on enhancing accessibility and inclusivity, Black History Month also presents an opportunity for Lifemark to take action to create meaningful change.

We continue to support community-led initiatives through a donation to the Black Health Alliance as they work to improve the health and well-being of Black children and families, and create lasting change in Black communities across Canada.

As part of our commitment to improve access to healthcare and increase accessibility to the healthcare profession, we are pleased to announce the Lifemark Scholarships for Black and Indigenous Students.

These scholarships represent an important step forward in our efforts to address existing barriers and challenges, and will provide financial support for students from Black and Indigenous communities who are pursuing post-secondary learning in a recognized Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Masters program in Canada.

Applications are now open, with two scholarships being awarded for the fall semester. To find out more and apply, see the links below:
