Toronto – March 7 2024, In honour of International Women’s Day, Lifemark Health Group, in partnership with PC Health™, hosted an online webinar on pelvic floor issues. The free educational session  explored how the pelvic floor functions, how pelvic issues impact the health of men and women, and what type of help is available.

The webinar, which had over 2,000 registrants, featured Lifemark pelvic floor physiotherapists and clinical leads, Uma Ghosh and Alana Lazareck-Devlin, who discussed the role of the pelvic floor in maintaining health and how physiotherapy can help an individual’s unique needs.

“We are thrilled to have had the privilege to offer education and raise awareness of the importance of pelvic health and its significance in the lives of Canadians,” shared Uma Ghosh.

The theme of women’s health was also promoted by PC Health™. Attendees learned that for every 1,000 PC Optimum™ points earned during the month of March through the completion of health journeys on the PC Health™ app, $1 would be donated towards women’s health. Lifemark has several curated health journeys on the PC Health™ app. The app is an innovative tool that combines health and wellness advice, services, and rewards into an accessible healthcare solution for Canadians.
